What is a twin gimbal downlight?

A twin gimbal downlight is a recessed fitting with two adjustable LED heads in a single rectangular housing, each able to tilt and rotate independently. This gives the lighting designer two beams from one cut-out, useful for highlighting separate features or splitting the light between an accent and a wider task area.

What makes the Protium useful for design-led spaces?

Both heads of the Protium can be aimed independently, so a single fitting can light artwork to the left and a feature wall to the right, or balance accent and ambient light from one ceiling position. This reduces the number of cut-outs needed on the ceiling, which keeps the visual rhythm cleaner.
