Your Lights Product Warranty
At Your Lights, we are committed to providing high-quality LED lighting products. All our products come with a limited warranty designed to give you peace of mind. These warranty terms apply by default unless the product page expressly specifies alternative terms or a different warranty period.
Warranty Coverage
Product Type: Standard LED products | Warranty Period: 5 Years from date of purchase
Product Type: Emergency LED Products | Warranty Period: 3 years from the date of purchase
Product Type: Accessories | Warranty Period: 3 years from the date of purchase
Key Warranty Terms
- The warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.
- Any product altered or modified by the customer in any way that differs from what was originally supplied by Your Lights voids the warranty.
- Products shipped as standard or emergency LEDs are covered under their respective warranty periods.
- Standard products modified to function as emergency products by Your Lights before delivery are covered under the 3-year emergency product warranty.
What the Warranty Covers
- Failure of components due to manufacturing defects.
- LED failure under normal operating conditions.
- Functional defects discovered during the warranty period.
What the Warranty Does NOT Cover
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or improper installation.
- Cosmetic damage, including scratches, dents, or discolouration, that does not affect product functionality.
- Products altered or modified by the customer in any way.
- Products used in a manner inconsistent with Your Lights' instructions or specifications.
- Normal wear and tear, including a gradual decrease in light output over time.
Limitations and Legal Notes
- The warranty is non-transferable; it applies only to the original purchaser.
- Your Lights reserves the right to inspect any product prior to honouring a warranty claim.
- Your Lights may repair or replace the defective product at its discretion.
- Your Lights is not responsible for any incidental or consequential damages arising from product failure.
Warranty Claims Process
To make a warranty claim:
- Contact Your Lights customer service at hello@yourlights.co.uk with your proof of purchase.
- You will be sent our order return form to complete.
- Follow the process on the return form.
Note: Your Lights will not be responsible for products returned without prior authorisation.
