Can the Modus downlight be used in bathrooms or other damp areas?

Yes. The Modus is rated IP65, which protects the front face against dust and water jets, making it suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms, and covered exterior areas. Note that on units specified with emergency or dimming options, the IP65 rating applies to the front face only, so check the placement against your environment if you need either feature.

Can I order the Modus as a pendant, or with DALI dimming and emergency?

Yes. Alongside the standard surface mount, the Modus is available as a suspended pendant, plus DALI dimming and integral emergency versions for fitting into a wider control or compliance scheme. If you want any of these or have a specific layout in mind, our lighting designers can spec it for your project. The standard fitting carries a 5 year warranty, with a 3 year warranty on the emergency version.

What is the difference between the 14W and 28W settings?

The Modus has switchable wattage built into a single fitting, so you choose the output on site rather than ordering two separate products. You can also switch the colour temperature between warm 3000K and cooler 4000K, which makes the same fitting work across residential, retail, and office settings without holding multiple stock lines.
