A tuneable white LED panel allows the colour temperature of the light output to be adjusted across a range from warm white to cool daylight, rather than being fixed at a single colour temperature like a standard panel. This makes the panel suitable for human centric lighting and circadian rhythm applications, where the lighting in a space can be set warmer in the morning and evening for comfort, and cooler during the day to support alertness and concentration. The CTC panel adjusts between 2500K (warm) and 6500K (cool daylight).

How is the CTC panel controlled?

Your Lights' CTC panel offers comprehensive colour temperature changing and dimming through wall-mounted controls (RE22), remote control (RE23) or app control via the Casambi platform. A single control unit can synchronise up to 99 panels, allowing whole-floor or whole-building installations to be adjusted from one place. This makes the CTC panel suitable for offices, classrooms, healthcare facilities, hotels and care homes where lighting needs to change across the day to suit the activity or wellbeing of occupants.

Where is the CTC panel typically specified?

The CTC panel is widely specified for offices, classrooms, hotels, care homes, hospitals and other environments where occupants spend extended periods indoors and the lighting can be used to support concentration, recovery, or rest. It is a 36W panel measuring 600x600mm with a slim edge-lit design, IP44 rated, with a colour rendering index above 85 and L70 B50 lifetime of 70,000 hours. The CTC panel is the same physical size as a standard 600x600 panel and drops directly into a T-grid ceiling.
