What is a slim downlight and why does the depth matter?
A slim downlight is a recessed fitting with a shallow body depth, designed for ceilings with limited void space behind them. The Ultra Slim R-Series has a body depth of just 28mm, which makes it suitable for ceilings, partition walls, and modular construction systems where deeper fittings would not physically fit.
What sizes and wattages does the Ultra Slim R-Series cover?
The Ultra Slim R-Series is available in five wattages (8W, 11W, 15W, 18W and 23W) delivering up to 2,595 lumens, with bezel sizes from 110mm to 230mm and cut-outs from 95mm to 200mm. A cut-out extension ring is available to cover gaps up to 250-270mm, making it well suited to refurbishment projects with oversized legacy cut-outs.
What protection and emergency options are available?
Your Lights' Ultra Slim R-Series is IP54 rated and IK09 impact resistant, making it suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, communal areas, and corridors. 3-hour emergency, DALI addressable emergency, Z10 remote control self-test emergency, and an antimicrobial coating are all available, with mains, DALI, 0-10V and DSI dimming options for full control integration.
