What is the difference between a circular halo bulkhead and a standard circular bulkhead?

A circular halo bulkhead like the Alphard projects light forward through the diffuser face and outward through the side diffuser, creating a soft glow on the surrounding wall. A standard circular bulkhead only projects light forwards. The halo effect gives a more refined, architectural appearance, making the Alphard well suited to projects where a decorative finish is needed alongside reliable performance.

Where is the Alphard most commonly specified?

The Alphard is widely specified for communal areas in residential developments, stairwells, hotel corridors, hospitality entrances, external building walls, and other decorative interior and exterior applications. Its IP65 and IK10 rated cast aluminium body makes it suitable for environments where both visual appearance and durability are required.

Can the Alphard be suspended rather than wall-mounted?

Yes. The Alphard from Your Lights is supplied as a surface-mounted luminaire as standard, with an optional suspension kit available for ceiling-hung installations. Black is the standard finish, with a white option available as a special order. Optional integrated microwave sensor and emergency packs can be added at the point of order to match project requirements.
