What is a tunable white downlight?
A tunable white downlight is an LED fitting that lets the user adjust the colour temperature of the light output across a defined range, typically from warm white through to cool daylight, rather than being fixed at a single colour temperature. This makes the same fitting suitable for different times of day, different room functions, and different design moods without needing to physically change the bulb or fitting.
How is the R3 controlled?
Your Lights' R3 can be controlled either by a standard wall switch or by an optional handheld remote (AX500, sold separately). Cycling the wall switch on and off quickly steps through 3000K, 4000K, a 3% night light setting, and 5000K. The remote provides full dimming and the ability to group multiple R3 downlights into up to 4 zones, with control of up to 400 fittings from a single remote at a range of around 15 metres.
