Suspended Modus IP65 Downlight

An IP65 suspended pendant downlight is a fitting rated to resist dust ingress and water jets, hung from the ceiling on a pendant kit rather than fixed flush to the surface. Suspending the fitting lowers the light source towards the task or display plane, which improves light levels and uniformity in spaces with high or open ceilings. The IP65 rating extends its use to wet and dusty environments such as commercial washrooms, kitchens, retail floors, and covered external areas. The Modus pendant is supplied with a matching suspension kit so the drop can suit the ceiling height of the space.

Colour rendering index (CRI) measures how accurately a light source reveals the true colours of what it illuminates, against natural light. A higher CRI means finishes, materials, skin tones, and products appear as intended rather than washed out or distorted. For retail, hospitality, and display environments this directly affects how merchandise and interiors are perceived, so a CRI above 90 is generally specified. The Modus delivers a CRI above 90, which is why it suits retail and display applications where colour accuracy is a priority.

Yes. The Modus is supplied with drivers as standard and DALI dimming is available as an option. An integral emergency version is also available for installations that require maintained or non-maintained emergency lighting.
