Where is a 1200x600 LED panel light typically specified?
1200x600mm panel lights are designed for installation in 1200x600 ceiling grids and as direct replacements for legacy twin-tube fluorescent battens in commercial and industrial interiors. The larger format delivers a higher single-fitting lumen output, allowing fewer panels to cover the same area compared to a 600x600 grid layout. Common applications include open plan offices, warehouses, large retail floors, schools, healthcare facilities and circulation spaces.
What makes the Aquavance IP66 different from a standard 1200x600 panel
Standard 1200x600 office panels are typically IP20 rated, which offers no protection against moisture, dust or contaminants. The Aquavance IP66 is fully protected against dust ingress and against powerful jets of water from any direction, making it the right specification for environments where a standard panel would not be appropriate. Ricoman positions the range for medical applications and high humidity areas, including hospitals, dental practices, laboratories, commercial kitchens, food production zones, and clean rooms.
What emergency and finishing options are available for the 1200x600 Aquavance IP66?
Your Lights' Aquavance IP66 1200x600 is available with a 3-hour emergency option, DALI addressable emergency, and Z10 remote control manual or advanced self-test emergency, allowing the same panel to be specified for general use or for life-safety applications under BS 5266-1. An antimicrobial coating is also available, which is particularly relevant for clinical and food preparation environments. The panel uses a TP(a) rated diffuser, a slim edge-lit design with white frame, and comes with a 5 year warranty.
